 Post subject: I needed to hear Cheney's speech today

I just happened turn on the TV while I was grabbing bite to eat and Cheney was giving a national security speech today. Apparently Cheney's speech was immediately after Obama's speech.

Anyway, Cheney's speech was therapeutic for me because he makes sense to me. I found a transcript of it here:

I listened to his speech this morning as well.And I agree.Very concise and right on target IMO.I agreed with his every sentiment. I find Obama as equally as painful to listen to as Clinton.Both of em.

I agree it is painful to hear your President try and tell you "two plus two equals three" regardless of how eloquent or charismatic they happen to be. It is refreshing to hear Cheney say that two plus two still equals four.
